The Door to Opportunity
How many times have you been afraid to walk through the door of opportunity because you were fearful of making a mistake? How many times have you limited yourself because you were afraid you might appear foolish in front of your peers? Many times we let these self-imposed limitations stand in the way of progress, or moving forward. Staying within what is comfortable may prevent mistakes, but it can also limit the excitement that comes from trying something new for the first time. Expanding our boundaries of thought, feeling, and action means we have to put ourselves out there, to step into the arena, and not be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are part of the journey we are all on. But mistakes are only negative if they inhibit further growth. If you are fearful of testing out a new approach, or adding a new initiative to your business, or learning a new skill, you may be making the biggest mistake of all. If you are committed to growth, each new initiative, market, approach, or skill becomes a tremendous learning experience.
Each day is a new opportunity to lean into your power and be of service to others. Each day is a new opportunity to put your feet on the path of progress, to learn something new, to be brave with your life, and when the door of opportunity knocks, to have the courage to walk through it.
