Can one person truly make a difference?
My question to you is this, Can one person truly make a difference? And herein lies the answer:
A simple Nun once wrote, “I alone can’t change the world. But I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.” This quote comes from an impoverished, frail Albanian woman who took a train to one of the poorest countries in the world, sought out the poorest city, ventured into the poorest alleys, and began quietly serving those in need. One by one she fed, held, and loved the people she found. She attracted others to her cause and a movement began. Her name was Mother Teresa.
Each day we choose whether or not to pick up a stone and cast it across the water. And the ripples created by that one stone has the potential to reach someone when they truly need it most. Yes, one person can make a difference, and that one person can be you.
